The Island bath was no longer able to receive the increasing tourist traffic following World War I, so a new beach was opened in 1927, which was further extended in the last decade. The Helikon Beach was gradually developed on the site of the free beach from the 1950s. The beautiful bay, which is surrounded by the beach, can be a favourite place for those who seek more quiet recreation. Helikon Beach is situated off the road, in a quiet location, on the south-western edge of the town. It is mostly recommended for families. The size of its sunbathing area is 19,000 m2 and it has numerous catering facilities. Plenty of services are provided through our partners, whether it be an active recreation or a quiet relaxation. The beach also has a guarded bicycle storage. Parking is free in front of and next to the beach.
Services: pedal boats, Snooky, sunbeds, massage.
